Step1 Warming-up 1.Talk about your summer holiday(Activity 5):
Q1: What did you do in the summer holiday?Q2:  What was your last composition about?
Q3: What bands or movies did you see or would you like to see?
Q4: What is a wonder of the world? It is one of the greatest wonders in China. It is a man-made wonder.
Pyramid(s) in Egypt They are ancient. The people in Egypt built them about 4,500 years ago.
There are many books about the ancient pyramids in Egypt. Daming is reading the books now.
He is doing his homework.
Mr Jackson wants his pupils to write a composition called “What is a wonder of the world?”.
If the pupils want to get good grades, they must write at least 300 words.
the Great Barrier Reef (大堡礁) in Australia    Tony wants to write a composition about it and he wants good grades.
Step 2 Activity 1: Talk about the picture.
What do you think?    Wonderful? Bad? Boring? Interesting?  Modern? Ancient? Club? Concert ? Band? Worker?
Step 3 Listening: Listen and check the words.
